M&A Financial Analyst

Max Arends was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and has always carried a strong passion for business and finance. He earned both his Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Master in Professional Accounting degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, where he cultivated a solid foundation in financial reporting, auditing, and strategic analysis.

After graduating, Max began his career in Dallas at Ernst & Young, joining their audit practice where he spent two years working with clients across various industries. During this time, he honed his skills in audit methodologies, risk management, and financial analysis, while also developing a deep attention to detail and a strong sense of integrity in delivering client-focused solutions.

At Triumphant, Max brings a thoughtful and analytical approach, drawing from his experience in public accounting to provide valuable insights and support to clients and internal teams alike.

Outside of work, Max leads an active lifestyle and enjoys playing basketball, sand volleyball, and pickleball. He also has a love for reading, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family—always looking for ways to explore and connect with his community.
